Well, duh!
A guy I work with forgot his sister's birthday.
This doesn't sound quite as bad as it is until you realise that this was his twin sister, that he hadn't forgotten his own, and that the profound realisation that it was actually her birthday, too, came to him at their joint party.
I just have not the words, except perhaps the ever eloquent... "Well, duh!"

On the other hand, I have all significant birthdays in my computer, so a thing will pop up when I Need To Think Of Something To Get Them. So, shame on that guy for not being Organized in the face of a Disability.

So, she came up to me on Friday morning, while I was standing outside my french class room. We said good morning, and then she just stood there staring at me for a few second. I'm sure I didn't but my memory of it is that we shared several confused blinks; and then, as if she hadn't been waiting for it to click, she goes, "It's my birthday today."
"...Shit."
She was really good about it, but I think I felt like crap for the next three hours.
It's because I missed the bus: I usually get reminded about birthdays by someone on the bus - unless, of course, they're on the bus. *headdesk.*no subject
