A guy I work with forgot his sister's birthday.

This doesn't sound quite as bad as it is until you realise that this was his twin sister, that he hadn't forgotten his own, and that the profound realisation that it was actually her birthday, too, came to him at their joint party.

I just have not the words, except perhaps the ever eloquent... "Well, duh!"

LMAO!! Oh my God, Lily, that is hilarious!!! I'm sure his sister realized it was *his* birthday. Did he know this was going to be a *joint* birthday party?!? LOL!!

She did indeed! Apparently it was quite an embarrassing moment when she handed him his present and he had to own up to having forgotten that it was her birthday at all. And since they always have a joint family party... *shakes head* I don't understand!
