Yeah, our doctor gave us a physiotherapy referral, but I'm not sure *yet *that
physio is going to do anything we can't do better at home by encouraging
her to stretch and pay attention to varying how she walks. She's doing
well in gym class and starting to be able to do stuff on flat feet without
pain, even if she doesn't always stay there for long. But if it's not
looking better in another year, specialists for sure!
She's definitely dealing with that constant-drain situation, but in her
case it's mostly about unmet social needs I think. She's at the best
school, in terms of having a healthy emotional environment, that we can
access for her, but it's been a difficult transition and she's still
needing a lot of help connecting to other kids, so I'm trying to take a
more active role in setting up playdates etc. with kids I know enjoy her
company. All these threads are so intertwined, it can be hard to figure
out what to tackle first!
