If you haven't already, I would suggest you get your daughter looked at by a podiatrist. With an orthotic insert, my eldest went from being very reluctant to participate in everything and having anxiety meltdowns five minutes into soccer lesson every week, etc, to suddenly being able to cope with an entire lesson at a flat run the whole time. It occurs to me that this also coincided with when we switched schools and he magically stopped being so reluctant to attend. He's still anxious and has meltdowns, etc, but I think there was a low level achey-pain/tension that was so normal it couldn't be articulated, and it acted as a constant drain on his reserves. :)
But yes, I can definitely related to her reasons for toe-walking!
