Thanks, yes I am enjoying it! And thanks--yeah, I think that's one of the things with writing flashfiction for me, coming to terms with the fact that the bits that I spend so long obsessing about really make *so* little difference to the reader's enjoyment of the story. It's reassuring to hear that you feel I'm making a worthwhile contribution. :)

Hah, yeah I think that's exactly right--yesterday I didn't *want* a cheese sandwich like the boys were having, but I made an extra one anyway and had it completely disappear from beside me while I was writing. :) Out of curiosity, John leaving things for Sherlock to unconsciously eat canon or fanon? I can't think where it is...
