Nah, this was just tomatoes. Basically, peel a stack of frozen tomatoes, then chuck them all in a saucepan so they pack the entire bottom, almost cover it with water, bit of salt/sugar/herbs/etc., and then bring the whole thing JUST to the boil. (Gma believed that boiling things lost flavour, which I think is probably true.) Stir in some cream if desired, or just serve with Gma's bread which she made by hand almost every morning... *drools*
