I like how capable it is of giving you an overview of things; normally, my plots are very uncomplicated and straightforward, since I'm an in-order writer and plot developments are limited to what I foresaw coming (which is very little, since I don't plan, not even in my head, really), and what I remember of what I've already written (only pedantry will lead me to re-read what I've written).

So, I think it'd work well as a planning tool as well as a keeping track of things tool - I'll just be keeping a record of what should be there, rather than what is.
